Hollywood blockbuster Ghost hits the stage.

Most cinematic enthusiasts will swoon over Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore’s illustrious pottery scene from the 1990 blockbuster Ghost. And they’ll be glad to know that today, the moment can be relived through the medium of theatre, as director Matthew Warchus brings the film to the stage.

Ghost the Musical is showing at Theatre Royal until May 21st, with a star-studded cast headed by Rob Mills as Sam Wheat, alongside Jemma Rix of Wicked fame as Molly Jensen, Alex Rathgeber as Carl Bruner, and British sensation Wendy Mae Brown as Oda Mae Brown.

Prior to its Australian debut, the production made waves across northern hemisphere, premiering in Manchester in 2011, before heading to London’s West End and New York’s Broadway. Among the highlights are choreography by Australian-born talent Ashley Wallen, music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and a string of state-of-the-art special effects that have taken the theatre realm by storm. It’s a spectacle you won’t want to miss.
